We found a new favorite spot to hike! It's called Dixie rock. It is the most beautiful amazing place. You can see all of St George. It was such a warm beautiful day we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Aren't all of you who are stuck in the snow jealous??? It's quite a treat to live here I have decided. Later that night we roasted hot dogs and made smores over the fire pit in the back yard. I forgot to take pictures. What a fun Saturday!

On Nov. 6th, 16 years ago I married my best friend Bob Reed. Happy Anniversary babe! You are my everything. I am so blessed to have you. There is not a day that goes by that you do not do something sweet for me, tell me how beautful I am, and make me laugh!!!! I love the nights that we talk and laugh until early in the morning, sometimes I laugh so hard my stomache hurts! You help me with the kids and you are always there for me. We have been having so much fun in sunny St. George. Emily has a new best friend Bryson Baker, not to be confused with her brother Bryson! She plays with him and his sister Brinlee every single day. She has had sooo much fun. We have been playing pirates a lot lately. She loves to go find the buried treasure. I will have to post about it sometime!
We are at my mom's for the week, so I have internet and will try to catch up on some of the things I have missed the last few months. i.e. Mckenzie's b-day and our trip to Lake Powell!

Aysha Renee' turned one on Friday October 3rd. She is such a sweet adorable baby girl! She is loved beyond belief by everyone and has the cutest personality. She crawls everywhere even up and down the stairs! She is working on the walking and will stand for a few seconds on her own. She says lots of words. When she gets her hands on anything that even resembles a phone she holds it up to her ear and say's "Hi Da Da." She is a daddy's girl through and through. She loves her daddy more than anyone! She is always excited to see him and pats his back when he picks her up!

Bryson's 6th grade awards assembly

Bryson has officially graduated from grade school! Wow, I can't believe I am going to have 2 kids in middle school next year! I am so proud of Bryson, he received the presidents award for educational excellence. Which means he made the honor roll 7 or more times! He also received his safety patrol award. He also got his physical fitness award! He worked hard all year and did such a great job. Way to go Bryson. Keep up the good work. We love you son.

My good friend Penny Tidwell moved away about 4 years ago. We lost touch. Then after 4 years of searching, you wouldn't believe some of the things she thought of to find me, she finally found me. YEA I was so glad too, because I was also looking for her. Then it took us 3 months to finally get together after that to actually see each other! O.K. We are both very busy mom's , she has 5 kids. But, at long last here we are. Penny and I are reunited. It was fun the kids rode the water slide, they played video games, and we got to catch up. Let's not wait another 3 months to see each other again. We are nerds. I love you Penny!!!!

Can I just say that I am so proud of my daughter right now. She just got back from Trek. She walked over 35 miles in 3 days! What an accomplishment. When she got home she was fried and very sore! But in spite of that, She said that she loved it and is glad I "made" her go. She learned a new appreciation for her ancestors. I have pioneers that came across the plains on my side. In fact her name was Agatha Ann Woolsey Lee. She and her husband John D Lee came over with all their children. They suffered many hardships on the way. I am reading his diary right now it is so amazing. Agatha's mother Abigail came with them and died on the way! I am so proud of who I am and grateful for the sacrifices they made so that I have the gospel. I know Keslie is too now that she has experienced just a very small portion of what they went through. Except, she had proper shoes, Lot's of support and food to eat etc....Way to go Keslie. Good job.

Keslie also told me that several of the girls in her group had blisters and she felt bad for them so she pulled the cart most of the way! That is just the kind of girl she is. Sweet and always thinking of others first! Just to brag a little more. I got her end of year grades today and she did a fantastic job.

Happy Fathers Day, a little late on the blog, to my wonderful husband who takes such good care of us. You are an amazing father and love your children with all your heart. I have never known such a devoted father as you. We love you. We appreciate all that you do for us. Also to my wonderful father Dan and my fahter in law Bob sr. Thanks for your love for our children and all that you do. We hope you had a great day!

We had a BBQ on Saturday to celebrate. We had some of our very good friends from New Zealand the Metekingi family. The kids had a blast on the 4 wheelers and played on the waterslide. Also, my brother Todd joined us, that was really fun to have him. He had fun on our can-am pictured above with all the kids in tow! When they got back they all said that uncle Todd was a little "crazy." Somehow that didn't surprise me at all!

Last week we took off kinda spur of the moment and headed up to Idaho, we stayed in Teton Springs in a huge million dollar cabin it was so beautiful!!! We had such a great time together as a family! The highlights of our trip were: Shopping at Jackson Hole, Yellowstone where we saw Old Faithful, lots and lots of bucks and buffalo. But the very best part of Yellowstone was when we got to see a mommy bear with her bear cub. It was so awesome to see that in the wild! The scenery was beautiful and I LOVED the water falls we got to see! The Grand Tetons were breathtaking and we also got to see an eagle's nest guarded by a bald eagle and the mom was inside the nest with her eggs! It was really amazing! Bob got up really close and took pictures! What a wonderful and memorable trip. I am so blessed to have such a great family. The kids were great on the trip and had so much fun. Even baby Aysha was good in the car. She loved to see and touch her first pine tree. She laughed when she touched the pine needles. TJ was so excited about all of the hot pots steaming up out of the ground and insisted that we take a picture by one of them! Emily loved Old Faithful, she said "That is so amazing mommy!" Keslie loved the shopping and the boys were excited to use their new binoculars to check out the sights! Mckenzie just enjoyed everything and loved her new porcelain Indian doll we got her in Jackson Hole! What a great time.

I had an amazing birthday! We took the kids up to Deer Valley and stayed in the Red Stag it is so nice. The kids just loved swimming in the indoor pool and I could kick myself for bringing my camera, but then not taking any pictures! Sorry. It was so much fun though. They played and swam and swam and swam! We had a party for me at the condo and ate! It was awesome. Bob bought me a trip to the day spa which I am looking forward to very much! He is such a sweetie. So today was a very special day, we had a Tea Party. A real all dressed up, nails painted, hair done up, tea party! We had so much fun me and my girls! We got all dressed up and then we set the table with our finest "tea party" china. Mckenzie was so cute, she made up the table with a center piece and decor'. We then made fresh home made chocolate chip cookies and tea (herbal of course). We invited all of our guests. This is where it got really cute. Emily asked Bryson and TJ if they would be their "princes." As soon as they figured out that cookies were involved, they Bryson reluctantly, TJ enthusiastically played along! It was so much fun we had quite the posh conversation with the up most manners and everything. The Queen herself would have felt quite comfortable at our home this afternoon! The best comment was when TJ told Emily that she "looked quite lovely this afternoon." He is such a charmer! Watch out ladies, those dimples are going to kill ya, and if that doesn't do it then those puppy dog eyes will! He's so dang cute. He even made us lunch (peanut butter and jelly) and made place cards with our names on them! We finished off the day by watching Princess Diaries of course! I just love my job, it couldn't get any better than this!

We headed down to St. George again to our beautiful house for Mother's Day! It was fun to spend the day with Bob's mom who never gets to see her kids on this special day usually. We left on Thursday and were so glad to get into the warm sun. The kids immediately put on their swim suits and set up the water slide in the back yard! We also got to spend time with Ryan, Suzanne, Michael, Abby and Louisa. They headed down also and stayed with mom and dad. On Mother's Day I woke up and Bob had snuck off to McDonald's to bring me breakfast in bed and a beautiful bouquet of flower's and a cute card from the kids. We then got packed up ready to drive home later that day. We got KFC for an early dinner and headed to mom and dads house in Hurricane. We were going to go up to Zions and eat it, but by the time they got home from church it was a bit to late and we needed to head back, so we watched the awesome Jazz game, which we won, and at there. It was fun to spend the day with Jane and Suzanne two mother's that I admire tons! Bob gave me the best Mother's Day gift, the promise that I never have to be a mother again. Seriously, after my last pregnancy this was a great gift! Poor Bob though that snippy snippy was a little rough! Now that's how much he loves me! I am so lucky!

Bryson's Ordination

Bryson received the Aaronic Priesthood yesterday Sunday May 4th. It was such a special day. Grandma Linda, Aunt Suzanne and cousin Michael were able to come. I have never seen an ordination before and it was so neat. The spirit was so strong and it really confirmed my testimony of the power of the Priesthood. I am so proud of Bryson and his worthiness to receive such a blessing from our Heavenly Father. This will bless him throughout his whole life. I love you so much so much son. You have such a sweet way about you. I love your tenderness. Honor your Priesthood and it will always be there when you need it most.

After church we were invited to Grandma Linda and Grandpa Dan's for a wonderful dinner in Bryson's honor. It was fantastic, especially since I didn't have to cook it! We watched the sad Jazz game and had a really great time. Thanks mom and dad for having us!

Bob is the most amazing and wonderful husband. I love him so much. I am so blessed to have him. He took me away Friday night to Deer Valley. We stayed in the most beautiful condo right at the bottom of the ski lift. It had a jacuzzi tub in the master and also a hot tub out on the deck. It was so romantic and wonderful. On Saturday we went a saw Iron Man it was great. That night we went to the fights I can't remember what they are called , but it's like the UFC, Ultimate Combat I think. It was a blast! This was my first time away from Aysha, so it was nice to get a full night sleep! My cute Julie came and watched the kids, I swear I would never go anywhere if it weren't for her. It is so true. I love ya Jules. Thanks so much. While I was gone Julie took some amazing pictures of Aysha and the kids. She is so talented. She has a gift for photography. Aysha got her first tooth when I was away at girls weekend. March 28th. She had her 6 month check up and was in the 90th percentile in weight and height! No, there is nothing small about Aysha! She also got a new jumping toy and LOVES it. It's so cute to see her learning to bounce and play.

I had the most amazing weekend. My beautiful sister in law Melinda ( Pictured above kicking her leg out. Jason's wife, isn't he lucky?) invited me along to what has become known as "girls weekend." I was able to meet some wonderful amazing women and have a blast! We went up to Salt Lake on Friday afternoon. We stayed in a hotel until Sunday morning, yes 2 nights away from the baby. I still didn't get much sleep though, because we stayed up until 3 in the morning laughing and talking of course. And OF COURSE, Aysha slept all night both nights for Bob, but not the night I came home, go figure? Anyway, we also shopped till we dropped in Park City and hit the hot tub both nights. It was good for my soul to get away and have some girlie fun! I also missed my family and was glad to be home to see them. Thanks Melinda for inviting me and thanks ladies for the great time. I hope you'll invite me back next time. I know Nikki will let me come if I take her for a ride in the Viper LOL. I am soooo jealous of your ward you guys are wonderful!

Mckenzie's class had a wax museum. They all did important people from Utah history. It was very fun and interesting. Mckenzie did her's on Charlene Wells the first Miss Utah in 35 years to become Miss America. Mckenzie looked beautiful as Miss America!

SPRING FEVER!!!!

We caught a major case of spring fever and headed down to St. George this weekend to stay in our house. It was a BLAST!!! We went with Grandma Jane and Grandpa Bob to Zions park on Saturday. Yes it was very nice and warm, while you all up here were freezing! Anyway, we saw the buffalo. Saw lots of beautiful deer. It is a really neat time of year to go there because the snow is melting so there are lots of waterfalls that aren't usually there. We saw at least 4 of them! It was so beautiful. The kids loved the buffalo, even though they were "very sinky" as Emmy put it. I hurt my back though and we couldn't go swimming. Bummer. We'll go soon guys, I promise!!! It's really neat how it worked out on my side of the family each of my kids have a cousin their age to play with. Keslie and Hannah (Bret's daughter) are buds. Then Bryson, Adam (Bret's son) and Tyler (Todd's son) are buds. Then Mckenzie and Rylie (Todd's daughter, pictured above) are little cuties. Then TJ, Taryn (Todd's son), Aaron (Bret's son) and Jacob (Bret's son) are buddies. Emily has Laura (Jason and Melinda's daughter) and Aysha and Sara (Jason and Melinda's) are only 4 months apart and will also be the best of buds. On Bob's side Emily and Abby (Bob's sister Suzanne and Ryan) they are only 6 weeks apart. And Aysha and Louisa (Also Bob's sister Suzanne's) They are only 3 months apart. Michael (Suzanne's son) and Bryson are best buds also. It is so much fun to have such great cousins to play with we love you guys!

O.K. I am kind of freaking out right now because Keslie just went to her first dance. Just a stake dance, but it is her first official dance! She looks beautiful and I have no doubt won't end up being a wall flower. I remember my first dance in sixth grade. My mom went out and bought me a new dress. Bob said to Keslie "Just stand against the wall and when a guy comes up to ask you to dance, stare at the ground and start singing to yourself!" When she asked why. He said "Because, I don't want to break out my shot gun just yet." It was funny. I guess our little girl is growing up into a young lady. Where did time go?

Yesterday Lady Emily and I were invited to the Royal Palace, in the Kingdom of Bluff and Dale and the Kingdom of the Bulldogs. Bryson's class put on a royal medieval feast. We were greeted and led to our table while Bryson served us a wonderful lunch. Then we were entertained by the knights and princesses. Bryson was a court jester and delighted the audience with his humor. What feast would be complete without royal jousting (they had to be the first one to get the pool noodle through the wreath that was hung from a rope). It was very cute, and lots of fun! Thanks Bryson for all your hard work and having us come! We had fun!

In my 34 years I don't ever remember church being cancelled because of snow! That is exactly what happened today. Since it is Super Bowl Sunday, it was fun to be snowed in and have fun with the family. The kids went outside and built a snow fort and went sledding, we have a great yard for sledding. Keslie and Emily played guitar hero. It's been a great day. Here are some pic's of the snow fort and the boys sledding. I also threw in a pic of Bryson's new brace face!

Sick week

We have been sick all this week. I was sick on Monday and Tuesday. Now Emily and Aysha are sick with colds. WOW! I am so looking forward to summer! It's just so darn cold and snowy. My amazing and wonderful husband has come through for me with lots of help! I don't know what I would do without him sometimes. He really is my best friend. Byrson's birthday is on Feb 15th so check back for even more fun party pic's and also he is getting the preisthood. It was Keslie's Birthday yesterday! It's Emily's Birthday on Monday. So yesterday we partied all day long literally. We started the day with Emily's 4th Princess Birthday party. It was so much fun. All the little "Princesses" were greeted at the Reed castle by REAL PRINCESSES!!! Sleeping Beauty (Keslie), Tinkerbell (Keslie's friend Kaitlin) and Bell (Mckenzie) they were adorned in a beautiful necklace and ring. No princess is complete without her crown, so we made beautiful crowns. Then we colored a princess picture so that the REAL princesses could sign them for the girls. Then it was off to play a pretty princess dress up game. Then we made princess cookie star wands. The girls got to frost and decorate them, they really liked that! After presents the girls ate their Cinderella cake. I was surprised at how much they loved drinking out of the real glass tea cups, it was really cute. We had so much fun! The were the cutest princesses I have ever seen! Then it was time for Keslie's 14th birthday party, yes I have a 14 year old wow! Anyway, she invited some friends from her old school and new school. We ate pizza, played the M&M game and watched a movie. Thanks goodness Julie was there. For those of you who don't know Julie, she has babysat for our family since I was pregnant with TJ both times we went to Hawaii, she watched the kids. There is no way I could EVER leave them with anyone else, if it weren't for her I would never go anywhere. I trust her so much with my kids and love her like a little sister. She helped me get my blog looking presentable. Thanks Julie. Anyway, she had some great party game ideas. We played the HA HA game, We laughed so hard we cried it was so awesome. I think the girls had fun! Happy Birthday Keslie and Emily we love you girls very much. Keslie you are growing up to be such a beautiful young lady. I appreciate all of your help around the house and with the kids. I really do enjoy spending time with you going to the mall and talking. You are such a sweet girl. Not very many mom's of teenagers can say that, I am so grateful that I can. You are a one of a kind. Emily you are really growing up, you are such a helpful and kind person. You are loving of everyone and so funny. You always make everyone laugh. We love you both so much.

I think I may have figured out pictures! So here are some random ones from the past few months, since I haven't posted them. I thought I would put some of Christmas and of Aysha's rough start, most of you didn't get to see her all tubed up! You'll know why I was so upset when you see the pictures. I am sorry it's been a while. I am still trying to figure out pictures. Anyway, it's Keslie's 14th birthday on Saturday and it's Emily's 4th Birthday on Monday. We are celebrating both big days this Saturday. It should be interesting to have 2 parties in one day! whew! I figured I would just get them both done at once. My girls are getting so big! They all are growing up so fast. Bryson will be 12 on Feb 15th. He will be getting the priesthood. Wow, I can't believe it. My son is going to be passing the sacrament. Our little Aysha is almost 4 months already and can I just say that she really is the sweetest, happiest, smiliest baby ever! She is so cute and happy and content. I love her to pieces and enjoy every moment because I know how fast they grow up. Emily is going to have a princess party on Sat it should be very fun we are going to make star wand cookies. Make princess crowns, play a princess dress up game and play a princess and the pea game. I hope it will be fun. I have invited all of her cousins along with a few friends. She is very excited and tells me that Saturday is to far away! I will hopefully post pictures of it after, because Melinda is going to help me to figure this whole thing out when she brings Laura to the party! Thanks Melinda, in advance. Yay! Suzanne and Ryan aren''t moving to Seattle

They are moving however, just not to Seattle. We are so happy they are staying. I was holding Louisa today and started tearing up, Suzanne asked me what was wrong I am just so happy that I get to see my sweet neices and nephew grow up and that they aren't moving away that I can't stand it! We love you guys so much. We spent a very busy day helping them load up their storage pod today and packing the rest of the house.
Aysha is getting sooooo big. She is in 6 month clothes already! So much for having a newborn for very long. She's a doll though. She really remindes me of Bryson when he was a baby. Emily is excited to be back at school. The other kids however, aren't so excited about that. They are all getting along very well though and happy at their new school. I am glad because I felt very guilty about moving them! We have been very healthy this winter over all, a few colds here and there, but nothing major. I am grateful for this! After having Aysha so sick I needed a break so that has been nice. Keslie is really a teenager! She is so funny she is such a great liitle 2nd mommy to the little girls! I really don't know what I would do without her. Bryson is also turning into a tweenager! So is Mckenzie for that matter. On the way to Suzanne's today both Bryson and Mckenzie were in the car listening to their mp3 players with their earphones on singing. It was so funny, Bob and I are in for a fun road ahead. We are soon going to have a house full of teenagers!!!!! I'm a little nervous to be honest. But, ready for the challenge. I love our kids so much they are my life!!!!

Well, tomorrow is new year's eve. I can't believe it's 2008! As, I reflect back on this year I am grateful for the Lord's influence in our lives. He is there for us, always with arms open, all we have to do is ask. I am looking forward to another year and watching our dear sweet children grow. Bryson is going to receive the preisthood in February. He will be passing the sacrament. I can't believe how grown up he is. In October, we are going to Disneyland again with Jason, Melinda, Mom and Dad. I am so excited about that. That same month we will be celebrating Aysha's 1st birthday! My how time flies. We are also looking forward to going to Lake Powell again (It's a good thing Bob got me a new elliptical machine and exercise bike for Christmas so I can look good in a swim suit!) We are excited to go to the dunes to 4-wheel. We also love our trips to St George to our home there. I hope and pray this will be a wonderful year for ALL of our family! May the Lord bless us this year and always.

Angel Grandma

Our sweet Grandma is happily reunited with her family in heaven. I am so grateful for the knowledge that I have that I will see her again someday. I am also comforted to know that she is happy and well and young and in no more pain! I love her so very much. She was such a wonderful amazing example to me in my life and the lives of my husband and children. I am eternally grateful to her for her sweet spirit, loving generous heart, never ending service and compassion for others, and her always listening ear, just to name a few. As my mom said it so well today, she truly endured to the end without complaint and always graceful and elegant. Bye for now Grandma, but not forever! I love you.

I thought I'd try blogging. I have never done it before, so I hope it works. We had a wonderful Christmas! Santa found us in our new home. Whew! we were a little worried. Emily was so cute, she was so excited that santa actually ate our cookies and drank our egg nog that we left for him. What a wonderful blessing it was to have a new baby this Christmas. To look at her precious little face and think about the baby Jesus. How amazing it must have been to have been his mother. I can't cant believe how grateful I still feel that she is o.k. and healthy after her scary start. I still get scared sometimes when she is sleeping that she isn't breathing or something. I am so grateful for our sweet children. They are what makes Christmas so much fun! What would we ever do without our six angels! Merry Christmas everyone!
